What is cannabis? Either way, the only reason they don't ban tobacco is because people will go crazy without it, possibly join gangs, etc. So many people use it there could be riots, among other things.

bad health effects isn't enough to ban something.. (i.e. cigarettes, alcohol, fast food, etc.) I doun't think cannibis should be legal but you gotta give a better reason than bad health effects

Not to everyone. I've known people who did cannibas and never tried harder drugs. It depends on who you are.

I agree cannabis should be illegal,

but if they were to ban tobacco it sould be incredibly hard for people to stop. You would have no idea until you see someone try to. My grandpa can't stop. People who do smoke would feel like they are missing something and can possibly commit suicide without it. We don't want that to happen, so we aren't going to make that illegal. The reason we do ban marijuana is because it is so much worse than smoking and people could do bad things to themselves or others just for doing it.
