(since he seemed to be the topic now, the goblin felt he could explain a bit more, saying "...on sites, the hostility normally dies away because I, for my part, don't belittle members unless they come for me that is, I am selfish, yes, my goal is to create posts here, and for that I only need the feeling that people are reading this...", that is, if only because the goblin had learned that he can't write offline here, he simply needed an audience to create, and, since most people concluded that the goblin was in earnest while the hecklers came off worse in any fray against him, they let the goblin be, "...no, the problem now I fear, will be gaining the trust of new members to start threads, or at least post in their own right again, since the frays we have seen recently have caused an atmosphere of fear that will slowly destroy this place if one doesn't see the short sightedness of it for what it is..." concluded the goblin)
the goblin welcomed all new members, saying "...if someone ever asks me what I want from them, I ask them to be selfish, for if they remain selfless, they won't be able to keep it up for long, on the one hand, and I won't really know who they are, nor what you are doing here, on the other...", the goblin paused, sipped his coffee once more, and then continued thinking while one of his old lines just came to fore so he just voiced it to himself "...so don't you want to know who you are by what you post then..."

the goblin didn't know about the others, but he was sure he drank coffee, saying "...hi, anyone seen my intravenous caffeine drip life support system...", in fact, goblin thought that making sense wasn't as much fun as making friends and feeding the slot like this

Re: Einsteinean
the goblin was feeling better but he understood that life, as one gets older, shuns the old for being old, ugly or whatever, but the goblin knew too that it was "all up to himself", in that, if he had to become old, like some iceberg in the eyes of others, then like that iceberg 1/5 part of himself would remain visible where that other 4/5 part of him would just float in the Internet as something far more than either that man in the mirror or any other of those real-life categorizations could fetter, so he simply restated: "...I am what I create here, my Internet self is going to be amazing, deep and real, promise, or I will die trying, no, let's aim for both of those then for you and me will die regardless..."

the goblin was enjoying the fact that his wife and children were away on a shopping weekend leaving the goblin to get up to something even if at this point he couldn't for the life of him think of any secret urge worth gratifying, "...oh no this is just awful how one sees though ones own temptations..." lamented the goblin ending up just going back to the bistro again

the goblin liked the replies, saying "...the post count, hit rates and ratings only makes one neurotic as there will always be other members and sites that have a far greater number number of "whatever" than one has but what of it, when the only thing that actually matters is "are you happy being here", if so, "stay"..." but for the goblin it was always "him against himself" here, in that, in posting, he won against the part of him that was saying why bother each time

The goblin stuff is just getting really annoying. I don't spam nearly asmuch as that.
Re: Einsteinean
"Will you stop with the damn goblin spam?" read the goblin only on one thread now, thinking that this had to be coming from someone who actually posted "content" in his own right now, or else why would anyone draw attention to their own inability by writing that, so the goblin paused, sipped his coffee and then had a brilliant idea, an idea for the site that is, saying "...over to you then, you show me what a post should really be then, amaze me and that way the site gains content by your thought out effort...", simply the goblin was saying "call" here, repeating that old line "the duty of an opposition is to offer an alternative"

(the goblin liked this site and its members too, or simply he wouldn't be here he knew, saying "...bickering is all very amusing for a while and then it has to return to content, I remember when I started here there was some kind of "kick the newbie" mentality, spam the other site, and other types to cheapnesses, but you don't have to resort to cheap tricks to have a great site here, you just have to focus on content but if I am wrong let me know, and I gladly move on...", and with that the goblin post ed something he had replied to this morning)
repost from elsewhere, the "life, the universe, and everything" thread
the goblin returned, read though the posts above and wanted moreso to keep his post short, saying "...ah mortal, you think one human can ever know the whole truth, and then claim each theory in its turn is a delusion, when what you have is just another theory in its turn, humans for all their religious belief and scientific observation can only theorize at best...", simply the goblin knew that he should try to know the truth here, a truth that is as infinite as his own mental grasp of it was finite, no not that that would stop him trying he understood, "...simply humans in their weakness make props that they can lean on, perhaps calling it a delusion would be ungenerous way of looking at it, no, it's a prop where otherwise an infinite hole in ones life would be, it plugs the hole that's all, hence adults, as I pointed out before, need this prop because their own sure world collapses if they left that hole of the infinite open, "...OK, so let's have "the theory of truth biological of scientific observation" then, when all I really need to knew is that this life is a "journey to self" here..." concluded the goblin off to make a coffee and to find a matching picture too

"...how that post asks a lot of its reader xxxxxx..."
sure but at least mine makes sense...LOL
What you are referring to there, I think, is human construct. Where as what I refer to is truth biological. Am I correct?
You take human construct and project it onto immortal imagined beings, derived from your own imagination. You are projecting. It's a subtle difference and one I am not inclined to get into in this thread.Scientific based observation will prevail.
Why reference children as a higher than adult state of mind? They are not; never have been, never will be. A child's mind is limited by experience and is a clean slate, there is no other evidence beyond that. An adult's mind is not. An adult's mind may need lies for some delusion, for some reason, which is more like a child-like state of mind, like the delusion of religion.
As far as the American capitalist delusion...its just good'ol human wants and needs amplified by 250 million voices across the greater United States of north America. Nothing to get hysterical about.
